Welcome to Nuclear Sports. By accessing our website, browsing our products or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Nuclear Sports is a South African retailer specialising in cricket and hockey equipment and accessories.

1. General conditions

By using our website, you agree to provide accurate information when placing an order and to use our services only for lawful purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where there is a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, incorrect pricing or unavailable stock, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Products and availability

We aim to display accurate product descriptions, photographs, sizes, prices and stock availability.

However, product colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings.

All products are subject to availability. If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate alternative or refund.

3. Pricing and payments

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be displayed during checkout.

Orders must be paid for using an accepted payment method before dispatch, unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. Where an error affects an order, we will contact the customer before proceeding, subject to applicable law.

4. Orders and confirmation

After placing an order, customers will receive an order confirmation using the contact details provided.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order but does not guarantee availability until the order has been accepted and processed.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.

5. Shipping and delivery

Nuclear Sports offers delivery within South Africa and collection from our physical shop.

Our standard delivery arrangements are:

• Standard delivery: R100

• Estimated delivery time: 3–5 business days

• Free delivery on qualifying orders of R5,000 or more

• Collection from our shop: Free

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. We will communicate material delays and honour applicable customer rights.

6. Returns, refunds and exchanges

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled in accordance with our published Return and Refund Policy and applicable South African legislation.

Customers may have statutory rights relating to defective goods and qualifying online cancellations, regardless of any voluntary return conditions.

7. Cricket bat care and usage

Cricket bats are made from natural materials and require proper preparation, protection and maintenance.

Customers are encouraged to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for knocking-in, oiling, protective facing and storage.

Damage resulting from misuse, moisture exposure, inadequate preparation or ordinary wear is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.

Any claim involving a potentially defective cricket bat will be assessed fairly in accordance with applicable consumer rights.

8. Website content and intellectual property

The Nuclear Sports name, branding, website content and original promotional materials may not be copied or used commercially without permission.

Product names, trademarks and logos belonging to manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Privacy and personal information

We collect and process customer information for legitimate business purposes, including processing orders, arranging delivery, communicating with customers and providing support.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection legislation, including POPIA.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nuclear Sports is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be published on our website.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights arising from orders already placed.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
